so i havent been around in a while as my 125 cracked and i bought a 92 corner to replace it. The tank has been runing for several months now and i have finaly added my first coral 2 months ago. It was yellow polyps and now i have a duncan as well. now heres the real question. where do i place them in the tank? Live aquaria says polyps go in middle and duncan bottom to middle. but that is based on how strong your lights are. I have a single 250w 20k MH 7inches from the water. The coral seem to be doing fine where i have them but im just wondering if they should be moved. I added a BTA yesterday afternoon and it pretty much ran away from the light. it has hide under a rock and no longer a bubble tip just long thin tentacles but my clowns started to live in it right away, should i be concerned? Thanks for the help.

one mistake i didnt make wasusing a stock stand for my 92 corner.i built one myself because the stock stand is SO HARD to put any equipment in a stock stand.the hardest thing to do is light the tank.i personally feel using a MH fixture is wrong for a 92 corner.you will have alot of dead light spots.i went with a acan 3ft a103 and i pretty much have no shadows.i have to tilt it very little towards the back for more lighting near the overflow.if you keep the MH i would place the MH directly in the middle and use t-5 for the front and back.JMO

i would use the t-5 brther.you can use 24" blue and white for the back wth i think they are 24 watts but if your rock work is up high so that will work and maybe 1 white 1 blue 36" for the front and that should take care of the 2 corners.they are 39w a piece
