I started cycling my second set up and wanted to know how long to keep the lights on while cycling? Also should the temperature be kept a little above average? I'm asking cause this is what I've read but rather hear from people with more experience

Do you have live rock with anything you want to keep (hitchhiker corals, macro algae, etc.)? If so, then I would cycle with a "regular" lighting cycle. Otherwise, you can keep it in the dark.

Yea I'm using the same rocks I had in my old tank. What I did was basically took down my 110 gallon and replaced it with a 110 RR tank, same rocks and sand I got from members on here like Inneed, lol, thanx again bro, and just set it up and filled with RO/DI water

Yes I had the tank up and running, I took them out the tank and I put them in tubs with water for about 2 days until I put them in the new tank

Your cycle shouldn't take as long as it would with new rock then, just keep an eye on ammonia and nitrite, keep the lights off in the new tank, if you have coral keep them in tubs and you can light the tubs just be careful not to burn them.
