the blue plus bulb has just about the same par as a day light bulb so you get the same growth for blue bulbs as white bulbs
i have been using this combo for 2 years great color and great growth with one day light bulb

yes it is all personal choice but you can grow color under all blue lights
let see what look he is going for?
