So just wanted say hi and let people know about my tank. I've been using the forum for a few months but never posted anything. Everybody seems really nice so I figured I'd get a ill more involved.
I've had my 75g running for about 3 years got some lps and sps but recently just rearranged my live rock to make more room for more sps and some lps.
Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated. Also some advice on what sps are moderately easy to keep. I'm not a beginner but def not an expert. All my corals are doing great but wanted to take it to the next level I guess and realyl make my tank reach its full potential. Thanx again!

more pics. as you can see some spots have these polyps that are growing on the rocks. i would like to get rid of them. i've tired scraping them off but can never get them all and they just keep coming back. i was told that i can inject them with calcium and alk and it would kill them. that didn't work. any other suggestions??

Tank looks good. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

If you're going to toy with it though, I would do away with the bioballs too. The Coralife skimmers have a bad rep too, you may want to upgrade that. Beyond that, I wouldn't mess around too much.

thanx appreciate it. i took some of the bioballs out already maybe like 8-10months ago. about half. should i get rid of all of them and add more lr. the only problem is that that part of the sump is not submerged. water just trickles down. is it ok to have lr not fully submerged?

The bio balls don't remove all at once it will cause a spike I. Nitrates. You can remove a few every week until they are gone. Personally I put live rock rubble instead and the trickling is what's supposed to happen wet/dry are aka trickle filters

Looks like your tank is doing great Cristian!;) Like others stated "if it ain't broke don't fix it", you may end up regretting the move.;) All systems operated differently, what works for one may not necessarily work for another.:)
