Hi everyone! I'm Chris and I'm new to the forum. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

150g - Oceanic (SPS tank, started 10/14)
30g - Sump

I have some pics but I can't find the damn wire to my camera so I can't upload them. I will do as soon as I can.

Sure. It's been running for almost two months now. I'm still fighting diatoms at the moment, but hopefully they'll begin disappearing within the coming weeks.

I'm running Current USA Outer Orbit lighting.

3 X 250W Ushio 10k
8 X 39W T5 Actinics

T5's run for 10 hours
HQI's run for 5.5 hours

Temp is managed through a pinpoint temperature controller running both a heater & chiller. I maintain 79* +/- 1* in either direction.

Skimmer is a SRO-3000SSS. It's only been in the tank for 2 weeks now and it's finally beginning to break in. I think this is why the dino's are still hanging around.

I also run GFO in a TLF550 reactor. Ca/Alk maintained via B-ionic 2 part, currently 60ml/day.

pH - 8.05 - 8.15
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
Amm - 0
PO4 - Salifert says 0 but I disagree based on current algae in tank.
SG - 1.026
Alk - 8.4
Mg - 1400
Ca - 470 (Been dosing just Alk letting this come down a tad)

So here's a couple pictures of my first tank inhabitants. So far, just about evrything is doing really well. I'm pretty happy considering I only started the tank up on 10/14. 2 corals are suffering from light shock, my Red Planet & an encrusting Monti (not sure which one yet as it came with a coral frag pack from aquatic connections). I'll have to wait for it to color back up before I can make an ID.
