I've decided on the Solana.....So....

Hello,

So I've decided I'm going to upgrade the gift my GF bought me for Xmas to a Solana.

First off, any suggestions on where to buy?

Second, what mod's need to be done?

Third, do they offer an LED only option, or do you have to go with the Nova's? I was looking on there site and its quite hard to figure out which lights have mounting options for the tank, it seems they only offer mounting options for the Nova's and the Pendent. I hope I'm wrong as I'd love to have a more energy efficient option.

First off let me say that you have made a great choice. IMO the solana is the best all in one tank made. It is easy to upgrade, add a sump, reactors, skimmers, whatever you choose providing you do some research on what has worked for others.
There is a great thread on Nano Reef Forum called solana owners club, and here on MR too.

As far as a light goes. The Nova extreme pro is the only 20" T5 made.
Yuo could also mount a 20" sonpod MH light.
Or Leds,, 12" anan lighting fixture, or aqua illumiation,
