Do I have to flip the snails?

I have a few different kinds.

Dwarf Cerith
Nassarius Vibex
Florida Cerith
Virgin Nerites
Zig Zag Periwinkles

They aren't turtles but can they get back over on their own?

You dont have to flip them. They can do it themselves.

they could do it themselves but why not give them a hand. also if you have hermit crabs around-they will eat them when they are upside down

try to keep your hands out of the tank as much as possible. get something plastic and long enough to assist you if you would like to flip your snails over...

Only Astrea snails can't get themselves back up.
