Question about aiptasia

I am thinking about adding some Berghia Nudibranchs to eliminate my Aiptasia problem. Do you now if anything will eat the Berghia? I have a Yellow Coris Wrasse, royal gama, emeral crab....

I mean what's the point of buying livestock with such specific needs?

Get AiptasiaX it looks like a syringe and all you have to do is go near it and release the chemicals. It does not harm any of the livestock, and the aiptasia does not come back. IT IS THE BEST!

Or get the the aiptasia zapper, haha. Hate those aiptasia.. I brought two Berghia Nudi and place it in my tank and never saw them again. Not such a good idea, i still have aiptasia, ouch.. :*(

I had peppermint shrimp before, i had Copperband Butterfly, but they just keep coming back..

Some aiptasias are big, some regular size, got total about 50 of them.

Yes I have had peppermints eat my acans when I had my 75g up and they were definitely peppermints, not camel shrimp. .

Yea it seems some people have no problems with them others love to munch. I remember WWC had them eat a bunch of chalices in one of their display tanks

Yup! Acans and chalices....little red devils! They would only eat the eye...as odd as that seems

I suppose thats possible....but both times this happened i was told they were from the place where peps eat aiptasia and are reef safe. Its possible the store was wrong or lied about location (twice, two different stores).

Only Caribbean peppermints eat aiptasia, Pacifics will not!

Thanks...had long forgotten which did what. If above is true, i was always told they were caribbean peppermints then.

Got my pep from Manhattan Aquariums and he went for aiptasia within 30 mintues of being in the tank. Definitely saw it as a food source.
