My 75 gal tank, HAS one mp40W. should i get second one?

what do u guys recommend?

depends on what your looking to keep in the tank. SPS,LPS etc..

IMO one MP40 should be ok for LPS if SPS i would say add an MP10 just my opinion.

If going sps grab a mp 10 just make sure ur glass in not too thick for them!

In my 75 I have mp40 2 mp 10 and a nano wave box !
But I have a ton of sps !

I thought a mp10 wouldn't stay on the glass of a 75 bc the glass is thicker?? (could be wrong) if so that changes my whole out look for my tank gonna b starting a 75 in a few months

Usually only the rimless have problems w/ MP10 staying on because they use thicker glass.

When I had my 75g SPS tank set up I used 2 MP40, one on each end of the tank. It provided very nice flow with no other supplementation.

You should be fine w/ 1 MP40, but if you'd like to add additional flow, check out the Tunze 6095. It's a new pump, but it's awesome. I have one on my 90 (LPS and Zoanthid dominated) and couldn't be happier with it.
And no, these pumps don't suffer from the 'advertised vs reality flow' "Issues" that the 6105 and up had. The nanos never had that problem, and the 6095 is a new pump.
