skimmer cracked! help!

So i got a reef octopus 350 xs and i was picking it up and it dropped. Where the motor meets the skimmer cylinder broke, so i have to attach the two together. Its gonna be in the sump & in the water so i need something strong and safe. Any suggestions?

i would personally try tank silicone its safe and strong you just need to let it dry for 48 hours.

hey rich its not missing any pieces like we thought, i was playing around with it twisting and turning it, and it fit perfectly. I just got to get it together. someone told me they sell acrylic glue. Someone else said try weld on. what do u think?

This solution would only fail over time.


Weldon melts/bonds the plastic together and is the best solution.

if the edges are very smooth from the crack you can use weld on 4, if they are jagged i would go with weld on 16. if you need 16 i have it here.
