Dipping crab

Just purchased a sps mini colony, about to do a dip when i saw a sps crab between the branches. Will they survive the dip ? Already checked online, 10000% sure its a safe sps/acro crab

I've had quite a few acro crabs kick the bucket when dipping in revive, I have had some make it though. May depend on length of time and strength of solution.

The bad creatures your dip is targeting are similar to an acro crab. If you want to dip the coral id get the crab out first. I've seen LFS SPS tanks that warn frags are undipped to maintain hitchhiking crabs.

Got him (the crab) out, already dipped acro and placed crab back onto the acro
