I have a 90 gal that I need to light up. I'm going with a t5 setup and wanted to get everyone's opinion on how bulbs I may need. From my understanding 6 bulbs may be to much for low-mid light corals. I will be predominantly having softies and lps and want to be able to have them at all levels of the tank. I am also interested in having some clams and monti's.

Should I go with a 4 bulb fixture? I'm so confused. :banghead:

If your getting a fixture I would go with the 6 bulb setup. It comes with 2 switches so you can run either 2, 4 or 6 bulbs. T5's can be pretty intentsive and some of the softies and LPS may not like them but you can move corals around. Since the 90gal is high to begin with the lights should be fine and not to strong. If needed you can also raise it above the lights higher above the tank. IF you plan on having clams and monti you mostly want to go with the 6 bulb setup.
