i have this rose color flower type thing growing on both my vortechs..it isnt growing anywhere else..

yup thats a carnation but generally the dont like light and they are nps corals so thats odd see how they act in the light if not i would try to put them lower in like a cave they are really pretty when they grow and can form some really nice colors

That's a form of red macro algae, not a carnation. It's also not an algae you should be concerned with removing unless it starts to grow out of control.
