hi i just saw online these led lights by taotronics and i was just wondering if anyone knows anythin about themm?

Typical Chinese import. You want a pair of 3D glasses with them Lol. They'll work but IMO money is better spent elsewhere if your serious about doing it right.

I changed from metal halide to the cheap Chinese version of a 120 taotronics that is dimmable and also has a separate switch for lunar lights,and I have to admit one thing my corals look 1000 times better now than with the metal halides I was running before.if anyone is looking to buy the there worth than money as long as they come with optic lenses or your whole room lights up worst than a Christmas..

I would recommend Evergrow over the TaoTronics or I can suggest another company if you don't like that size/style. There is a large thread on RC about 'chinese leds' with plenty of info.

ahhhhhh i useeee them and i have really good color and growth. soo i think they are perfect we have 2 of them hanging over our 45G

i used these for a while and the only thing that got me mad was that the blue was so bright i couldnt get pics at night to good. but overall good cheap leds
