Cycling tank?

I have about 85lbs of cured tonga shelf rock in my 46bow . One tiny blue hippo tang, 40crabs 15 snails Any suggestions to what else i might need or can add to my tank? (ex. calcium, magnesium,etc....)

You need to find a home for that tang until the tank is done with it's cycle.

The crabs and snails shouldn't be in there either until ammonia and nitrites are all undetectable. Can you get a LFS or a fellow hobbiest to keep all of your livestock until the tank is done cycling?

ummm aaron possibly but not always 100% on the snails... please use ur test kits (ammonia=0, Nitrite=0, Nitrate= very low number hopefully this is how u no ur tank is cycled) to determine whether or not ur tank is done cycling... and then add your livestock slowely dont jump to a hippo tang no matta how small it is.. just some valuable advice..:grouphug: wat i would do is add a good clean up crew after the tank is done cycling and then after that stock slowely...

What LFS sold you live stock? Never trust most LFS.
