AI sols are up with the ext rail system! Was very easy to set up the rails. Recommend doing it with another set of hands though. Just waiting for a new controller since the one provided was defective.

First signs of algae growth on the Fiji premium rock. Nitrates are high from the cycle. Getting 0ppm readings for ammonia and nitrites so... My tank's cycled! Going to aquarium village later to pick up a cuc. I'll do a water change before that to get those nitrates down a little.

Havn't updated in a while. A lot has happened!

Added 20lbs of live sand, around 10lbs of LR and and bunch of cheato in my refugium. Had to put my cheato in a mesh bag because it was falling apart and going in my display. Added a Deep Blue solar flare mini as my refugium light. I have that on at timer for 12 hours during the day.

Two weeks ago, Added 2 bags of chemi pure elite to where my 2nd stage drains to the third stage of my sump. Didn't rinse the bags well enough and all the black residue spread throughout my skimmer and sump. Cleaned all that out today actually. Also added a maxi-jet 900 in the third stage so no detritus can build up. About to add one under my filter socks in first stage the next time I do a water change and change my socks. Aquarium village has them for a good price, cheapest I've seen anywhere.

2 weeks ago I added 7 chromis. The past 3 days two have died and I can't find two. However last night I did see two chromis with white spots all over them. I'm guessing the present school is picking on them and they are too scared to come out during the day and eat. Assuming the spots are stressed induced. I'll provide a pick and see of you guys can maybe help me figure it out. Need to observe more whose bullying who and see where to go from there. The current three seem to be getting along fine.

Also have my tunze osmolator setup, a bunch of hermits and snails as my cuc.

Once I figure out the bullying situation, I want to add a pair of clowns. Just wanna make sure no ones picking on anyone.

Trying to connect my Neptune system to my MR profile but can't figure out how. I know how to get to the page but it never connects. Could use any advice!

Male mocha clown in my tank. Unfortunately, his pair didn't make it during the acclimation process. As soon as I started the drip, she was swimming into the walls of the bucket the entire hour and a half. I put her in the tank and within minutes her coloration changed and disappeared. Found her that night with the CUC going to work :( Male was fine the entire time. Given the circumstances, aquarium village is going to help me out with another female. Gonna pick her up later today.

sucks when ya loose a fish buddy. great hobby filled with ups and downs. key is to figure out the problem and work out a solution. keep up the good work man. pays off in the long run

Thanks dude. My water was fine. Aquarium Village checked it out. I think from the beginning, as soon as the clowns were put in the bag was the problem. I remember when I had them in the bucket, the bigger clown was picking on the littler one, and it was going crazy banging all around the bucket. I just added another one and the acclimation went great! Gonna post a pic now.

Went back to aquarium village to get a new mocha clown. They hooked me up with a 50% discount on a new one, which I can live with. After a couple of minutes, the clowns found each other and seemed to be getting along and are sticking side by side. Also picked up a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp and a blood red fire shrimp. Tanks getting colorful!
