Bubble counter liquid ??

I heard that RO water tends to evaporate very quickly in the bubble counter I also heard that people also use mineral oil as a substitute with no problem any opinions will help..

You should use mineral oil, it makes counting bubbles easier and evaporates very slowly. Please don't confuse mineral oil with mineral spirits, they are two different liquids. I used to have a CO2 setup in planted tank and I used unscented baby olive oil.

yeah my water evaporates real quick. all i do though is remove the CO2 hose and use a syringe for a quick refill. i do it probably once every 3 months

depends on what kind of bubble counter you have for sure.

if you're using one on a selnoid regulator, then mineral oil. Others are HUGE and run up the side of the reactor (ETSS for example) and mineral oil would be a waste in that.

But I agree with Smoq, mineral oil.
