Fire Bristle Worm

I was wondering if a fire bristle worm is a bad thing to have in the sump? I just found a 5-7 inch fire bristle worm while I was adding some cheato to my sump this evening. Should I leave it there or give it away or what? Any information will be welcomed thanks.

Leave it be man, it can't do any harm down there. They are actually pretty good scavengers.

Check out this site http://www.chucksaddiction.com/ If you go to info links and then hitch hikers and then worms, you will find fireworms of the family Amphinomidae. He says that all the fireworms are safe except one. There is a pic and a detailed description of the one thats not safe. All the rest are great scavengers.
