Protein skimmer, Lots of micro bubbles

Hi Guys,
I've had my tank running for 2-3 months now and my Coralife 65g protein skimmer still producers alot of micro bubbles when returning the water. What can i do to get rid of the bubbles?

What kind of setup do you have? Sump with baffles???

You need to have some sort of bubble trap, or at least a sponge to try to absorb the bubbles. some more information about your sump would help..

I don't have a sump, I'm brand new to this and have a canister filter, with an in tank skimmer. It did come with bubble diffuser box with a sponge and filter pad inside. Guess that isn't working as well as it should.

I had that skimmer. You have to increase the space between the sponge/ diffuser and the return out pipe.

exactly... which means... the lower the box... the less the bubbles.
