Help Blind Aussie Tusk

I ordered a Aussie Tusk from an online source. It does not matter where and who it was. So please don't ask. My question is has anyone have experience with blind fish. He does not swim much, if any at all. Not sure if he is swimming around at night. He has not eaten much. I am placing the food in front of his mouth. some days he eats others days nothing at all. Wanted to ask and see what kind of response or ideas to help this Tusk. Any ideas will be appreciated. Guys please be serious as I have no time for sarcasm or jokes this is a serious matter. So please keep the jokes to yourself.

Have you tried garlic soaked krill? Also I have had hit and miss luck with seachem entice.as far as being blind.any ideas what's causing it? Cloudy eyes or missing/damaged eyes?

What you're experiencing it quite common, as H Tusk are on the shy side. He's is eating so I wouldn't be worry too much, just give him sometime and let him settle in. Also, tell us about you tank, the size, the setup, the rocks and such, and what other fish that you have.

The fish is definitley blind as I had him in my tank for a week and all it did was bump into the live rock. Once and a while it would go to the top and almost like gasp for air. I guess it was trying to swim higher than the tank. This behavior would last for about 30 sec and then back to the bottom. I called my friend Rich who is now caring for the fish. I way too much invested to have this guy contaminate my tank. The tank mates are Blueface, Regal and Goldflake angel. Purple Tang Purple dart pepermint hog midas blenny and blue damsel. None of these fish paid attention when I placed him in the tank. My Qt is only a 14gal bio cube so I could not keep him in there. The tank is a 140 oceanic. So this is why I placed this post to see if any information would help him. Rich is trying his best and not sure if there is more we can do.
