Hey all I'm new to all this just had a brief question I recently got into the hobby and started up a 20g tank not really knowing what I was doing but am learning and takin the right steps to success (so I hope) but I think I I blew it before I begun. I currently have 4 fish in my aquarium so my question is this : did I overstock?? I have 2 percula clowns, 1 royal gramma and a yellow tail damsel all in the 20 g. They all are about an inch in size.

Welcome to MR. What is your filtration setup like?

I would definitely watch out for aggression. Once the clowns mature and pair up they may not like having tank mates in their 20 gallon home. The yellow tail damsel also might become a problem in the future.

Marine land 350 I believe is my hang on filter just ordered a limestone slimmer just any benefit I can get out of it. I water change 10% every week using reef crystal. I have noticed the clown (female i believe) does not like when the damsel goes anywhere near the anemone (sebae) the damsel takes the hint usually and runs away to his own Lil cave. I'm not sure if my clowns have paired yet I have seen the submission dance from the smaller lighter one but the larger darker one also tends to do it towards him! But she is currently hosting the anemone solo. I have heard that dual submission is possible but extremely unlikely that was going to vent next thread . For now I worried about space

It's been about 3 months I introduced it last week seems to be happy with its new buddy hosting. My lfs said that it would be a better fit then a bubble tip because the BT Needa stronger light. I got it from captivating coral and mike suggested I go with that, seems to know his stuff and is very informative. Have I made a mistake? What is my best bet to fix this error?

Any anemone needs a well established tank. Most people wait at least 6 months before adding one. Since its already in your tank, I would just keep a close eye on it and make sure the water parameters stay as stable as possible. Good luck

Supplement with some pods so that your nem can have more food.
I do not keep sabae so I cannot say for sure how yours will turn out. I do have large colonies of BTA for years and they are fine in all the scenarios that fellow reefers would say shouldn't. I guess the live pods and clown fish hosting them have help a lot. If you ever drop by Queens NY, hit me up, I can show you.

BTW, what light do you have?
