You can get replacement filters or packs at brs.com or tbaquatics.com for a much better price. Just see whether your current filters (sediment & carbon) are 1 or 5 micron. City tap water containing chlorine should use the 1 micron or .06 micron carbon filters whereas well water can get away with the 5 microns. Your sediment filter should never be smaller then your carbon filter so if you are using a 1/.06 micron carbon, then you should be using a 1 micron sediment filter.
As for DI, most people just get the color changing resin either as a filled re-usable cartridge or just the refill media. Some places offer the non-color changing resin for a lower price which is fine as long as you have an inline TDS monitor on the effluent discharge, which is the proper way to see if your resin is exhausted.
