In the next week I am going to be buying new salt .I currnetly used Tropic Marin bio actif . I am just curiouse to see what brands others are using.

esv, the mixing part is not bad, if you know you do 10% water changes a week just have your salt, mag etc portioned off ahead of time that's how i do it... the salt mixes great and fast the parameters are always on point... its a bit pricy thats about it but your using tropic marin so its about the same.... good luck:smile:

I also use ESV, love the stuff!
But you must weigh it out, as the volume measurements led to problems for me.

yes it must be wighed out

even when it comes to the bigger mixes i weigh everything grams is more accurate then the methods.. that's what i do weigh out by portions and put them in containers for future use...

RC is a good salt I'm right now using it but I plan to switch over to the rea sea pro salt. Going to give that salt a try to see if I see any growth between both salts.

I actually have an extra bucket of red sea coral pro... I just switched and my corals are loving it so far. I bought 2 buckets just don't have the room to store another one. Pm me if anyone is interested.
