I tryed mostly every salt and I have to say Red Sea coral pro is the best ... I also use the Red Sea reef energy A&B it max out all growth in any corals from zoa.. To SPS

I aso have these ^^ but never use them because the salt is so good ....

The only thing I got was alil brown slime on the glass but I put a kas reactor on and now it's almost gone ... Nothing out this world ....

Oh be fore I for get I also go alot of coral growth lol

ESV gave me nothing but problems.

Used RC for a couple years with no problems and when I set up my 150 it worked out cheaper to use ESV. I was thinking about trying it after reading all the positive feedback in MR but when I did my Alkalinity and Mag dropped so low it killed all my montipora. I had some really nice pieces grown out over a couple years.
This never happened with RC. Mixing ESV now I have to test everything and there is no piece of mind. Im back to RC and will never use that stuff again.

The guys who use esv what are you using to measure out the water , I have a 5 gallon spring water jug but I do not know exactly where the 5 gall mark is on it.

which has the gallon markings on it and its hdpe number 2 plastic.... same plastics as the brute cans used for mixing the salt

Cool illl go tomorrow first time using esv hope I do it right.

I got the bucket love the foam grip lol .How do you measure 4.90 gallos which the esv chart says to use?
