This is an aqua 980
It's 215litres
62x52x39cm

Both my clownfish are doing extremely well
They are still brightly colored & very active
This pair of clowns were bought through marine plus here in Adelaide & they are not the tank bred ones
I wanted a wild pair &got the best ones out the shop woohoo
They have settled in now & feeding extremely well

how long has your tank been running? wild caught fish have a harder time accepting frozen/ flake food so u should monitor them

I have an octopus 1000 protien skimmer which is piped through the overhead carbon & sponge filter
I change 20% of saltwater each week also I clean the coral sand through a separate canister filter

I am new to the saltwater field &have to build my system up gradually but I do want to build a sump & incorporate it in the cabinet

I will also be investing in some led lights down the track

i wouldn't clean the sand if i were you, one, kicks up all the phosphates and ammonia trapped in there and two, little beneficial critters live in there

I syphon my sand every so often (6 months) during a water change...but only half the sand, then 1-2 months later clean the other side of sand.

& my tank couldn't look better.
