Corals without light ?

How long can corals go without light?

I have backup battery that I am running two pumps right now and battery powered air stone when charging the backup. They say my area will not have power for 10 days, so I am worried how long can this setup hold.

You can go without light for easily 3 o r 4 days without a problem. More important it to keep the water circulating and the tank temp at least 70. If you still don't have light after 3 or 4 days see if you can get some light from the windows onto the tank.

Get some battery operated white led lights..
I had as a back up to my generator 2 circular outdoor umbrella led lights that can hang as a chandelier just in case my power would go out .

good idea about the battery powered LED. Cant believe I didn't think of it.
