Top Off Question

I usually use distilled water for my top off however with the craziness from the storm i cant get any. would it be ok to use tap water with PRIME just for the top off?

For a short term quick fix on a 25 gallon tank you should be fine. I did hear that the water dept was adding extra chlorine to the water supply due to the storm - I dont know if that is confirmed though.

1+ the water will be with chlorine till further notice. thats what i have heard on the news.

I have never used PRIME before but wouldnt it help "clean" the tap water of everything?

hey everyone thanks a lot. Jumping to help a fellow reefer!!! i actually just found a store that had distilled water. i cleaned them out!!!

Never use it it has not only CL but also Phosphate up to 5 ppm and other minerals that is very bad for corals and algae wll grow rapidly

You should get an RO filter if you calculate it more expensive to buy gallon of distilled water another then that happy that I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem! if you need more I'm right over the Tunnel bring over as many containers ican you give free ro water!! pm me
