Welso ain't well just so-so !

Got this welso 2weeks ago. Its in low light med flow....in bb tank.
Under blue white led pendents....temperature 78f.

It was ok...but now shrunk a bit.parameters ok.

Haven't fed it. I just feed the dt.
Is this normal. What are warning signals that I have to look for?

It looks ok inflated try moving it to a different spot but give it some time before moving it again if it doesn't inflate at all and starts to recede then you have a problem

You need to feed it, as brain corals really need to be feed. Do you see the feeders coming out of it?

I hardly ever spot feed mine it swells up to at least four times is size in my new setup/however i do use cyclopeeze a couple of times a week for the whole tank

With lights on the mouth opens and closes....more open though.

Haven't checked lights off...that's when feeders come right ?

That is a really nice one. As long as you don't see any skelaton it should be ok. It might just be trying to get used to the environment. I would try not to move it for a couple weeks. In my opinion feeding them means either fresh or frozen stuff chopped up well.

I have one over a year and every once and a while it shrinks a bit for a couple days but then comes back into full bloom. It also gets small when lights are out so it actually starts getting small before the lights go out since it is on a schedule and it seems to know it will be getting dark.

Thanks guys I just fed him when it was dark , frozenfish food as soon as I put the particles in his mouth the feeding tentacles came out the mouth opened. Sucked the food inside. And then he bulged up a bit. Am I supposed to feed him with the lights on or when it's dark?

in a couple of hours my fungia adjusted and ballooned right up. This hobby is much more rewarding with endless wisdom/patience, give it time. Like basiab said, as long as you see no visible skeleton then you're in the clear.
