feeding coral

is it better to target feed coral or just let the food mix in the water ???

I prefer target feed.

I usually target feed with mysis with the powerhead off. Then I mix up the sand bed and turn the powerhead back on to get whatever missed the corals circulating around for filter feeding. The corals have been really receptive to this method

I target feed. I'd rather be sure that the coral gets the food than to chance it. The amount that's wasted could cause nutrient problems.
