Coral color morphing

I've had corals change color on me and I wonder if an exclusive type of acan I.e. has turned generic can it be changed to somethin "ultra" again.
And if anyone knows any methods to yield certain colors.

Seems like acans like consistent lower lighting

Two things that contribute to corals changing color are lighting intensity and water quality.

Yea, the lighting it seems is the main variable. For acans I believe low level, deeper spectrum(bluer) consistent lighting yield the ultra kinds. But for zoos, I'm not sure what would create which colors.

I think you are on the right track. I have had some bleach on me (even after being in the same place for many months) and I put them down at the bottom and they come back but it does take a few months. Feeding them either frozen or fresh finely chopped foods does seem to help them grow and probably helps their color.
