Nice build and nice equipment list. I've got a question though, why are you anchoring the most stable, secure, structurally sound point to the concrete? The top would be the least stable point. If you wanted to increase stability you should anchor the top of the stand to the wall behind the tank (not that I think it would be necessary after seeing your build).

Nobody is going to be moving that tank once it is full, so anchoring it to the concrete is actually not even functional.

Russ you can never be to safe when there are children in the home they seem to do the strangest things lol...and as for the top I cross braced the stand with 2x4 from top to bottom...with all this weight I had to make sure this stand passed my wife's inspection lol....Jay

Understood. Just not sure what anchoring will do for safety other than a placebo effect to placate your wife.
