using pvc primer and cement... is it safe?

hey guys, quick question, if i take a bulkhead and want to connect a pvc pipe to it, is it safe to use pvc primer and cement? will it affect water parameters or kill fish/coral??

Nope, it's safe for drinking water and I never heard any problems when used in reef system. Just like FR said, let it dry and you are good to go. I always run my new tank with FW to rinse any residue that are inside pipes before filling it with SW.

I would wait at least an hour before running your saltwater in it depending on where it is curing (drying). But pvc primer and glue dry really quick so an hour is safe

Get a clear primer so you dont have purple all over every joint it looks neater
