Happy the family made it through, and are all doing well!

Honestly I didn't think there were people out there actually "BOILING" live rock. I guess anything can happen in this hobby/addiction.

Its amazing what the stuff in our tanks can do to us. Thats why I dont even stick my hands in my tank without gloves

I remember about a year ago I was moving some rock that fell. i must have brushed a piece of coral or just the rock. I had the worst flu like symptoms. They put me out for almost a week. High fever, stomach cramps, head-aches. It was nasty. Always use gloves or at least grabbers to move anything in a reef tank.

Make this a sticky for the newbies . I had a trip to emergency room with my hand blue and purple and it got as big as my head over night just from a scratch on the rock
Capt America palys will give u 104 fever if u cut them with no protection .
