Is it an AIO with a filtration/sump system in the back? If so, you can add a bag of GFO in the rear compartment. Other than that... A reactor or water changes.

I was planning on doing this when I had my little 1g tank but gave up on it when I gave up on the tank. They sell these plastic tubes with soft plastic/rubber end caps.

You can get them in hobby stores and other places. All you need is one thats 1 to 1-1/2" diameter, some screw in nipple fittings, filter floss and a small pump with some tubing and you have a reactor able to handle enough GFO and Carbon for a tank thats 10-30g. Just make the holes in the rubber end caps smaller than your nipple fitting and push them in. Pressure won't be high enough to disassemble the reactor. I don't know how well the end caps would hold up in salt water long term.

This should fit in one of the chambers easily. Pump should run you 10$ and the rest of the pieces are like another 5$.

Wow, that's creative thinking!

Thank you!
