I didn't notice the bubble algae til I got home, but I removed them.
It only cost $6 and if I can clean it up good, its well worth it. The Zoa under blue light really pop in pink. I'm very happy with it despite the bubble algae and w.e. those things are.

But I still don't know what they are, anyone have any idea?

So I took an exacto knife to those things and cut them off. Also removed remaining bubble algae. I've got it in the bag with water from my tank, gonna leave it in that for the night and see what happens tomorrow morning.

I would definitely give them a good rinse with clean saltwater before putting them in my tank. Bubble algae has tiny spores that are easy to miss.

Post a pic of the Zoas when they open up!

I did buy them from Aquarium Village, only cost $6 and now that I've removed the bubble algae and snake polyps(?) it will be well worth it for the colors of the Zoa.

I'll post pics of it in a few hrs after I let it settle in my tank.

If I'm wrong and this was a horrible idea, like many of you think (ha) We can sticky this thread as "What Not To Do" lol
