Sailfin tang has white spots

I have a 54 gal corner. Tank is 2 months old. Cycled well. I have a few basic fish in the tank, some live rock and some bottom dwellers. My Sailfin tang has light white spots on fins and body. He is newest in the tank. (4 days) He didnt have them when I took him from the store. WHat should I do to help him? Is it ich?

Yep, it's ich. I hate to be a pain but your tank is too small and way too new for any tang. You might want to give him to someone with a qt tank so they can cure him

Have to agree tank is to small for this tang. Could be the reason for the ick caused by the stress of being in a small display.

I wont beat a dead horse about the tang. Also VERY important is you have exposed your other fish to ich. Do you have a QT set up?
