Barb fittings on AGA tank help

Hi all,

I'm replumbing my dual overflow tank, and right now I have the barb fitting bulkheads (stock AGA) installed.

What kind of flexible hose could I use that will not kink? Currently I have vinyl clear tubing but it's kinked at one point, and it creates a lot of water noise because of the backup.

From what I understand I can't use spaflex on a barb fitting, only vinyl, is that correct?

Any recommendations would help!

it doesnt kink..kind of expensive but it got the job done..mines is the bigger one, its inner size was 1"
