The bigger the better! I'm brand new to the hobby too but I got myself a 30g innovative marine nuvo. I like my tank best thing to do is to go to a store and check out the tanks in person

I would go for a 75, once you get used to that idea look at a 90 which is the same footprint.
Then look at the 120 which has a great front to back depth.
Limiting to 65 will prevent you from getting many fish that are usually high on most peoples wish list.

I woukd say go for the 90 its the best size you wont need to upgrade you can keep almost any fish you want and tons of room for coral , theres no point to the 75 for me at least its the same tank just 3 inches shorter , the 3 ft tank will limit you a 90 g is a good size i just set mine up as well , if i were to upgrade it woukd he to a 180 to get the 6ft legnth and 2 ft depth but thats way far into the future , you wont be upset with a 90
