I've learned a lot from youtube and this site the easiest way to get a tank going is if it's reef ready(built in overflow box) to setup all u have to do is add a return pump and maybe a heater depending on where you put the tank it's summer so water in your tank might not be cold to the point where you need a heater maybe in winter, if your tank is not reef ready you can use a canister filter something like this http://www.filtersfast.com/P-Fluval...-260-GPH.asp?gclid=CIaAldz8kbkCFUqY4AodvBQAYg it doesn't have to be this specific one you can get one here on the site for cheap, and that's just setting it up after that you have to mix saltwater add it to the tank and then you have to cycle the tank it's a process that you cannot rush, here's a few vids on the process, http://www.youtube.com/results?sear...0j1.17.0...0.0...1ac.1.11.youtube.LF6-H3yMtzA hope that helps............................
Hey chino, is there any way you can start with a bigger thank? A 10 gallon is going to evaporate quickly and it's easier to maintain a larger tank because there's more water.
10g is not a good way to start a sw tank. small tank require lots of knowledge time and care. 55 is a good way to start. google and youtube is ur best friend. i remember starting with a mr aqua 12 gallon long. its not easy=p my fish can tell u the story:biglaugh:
