So jumping back into this hobby its been well a long time about 4 years now. I used to have 75 gal reef w/ 20gal sump and 20 gal nano. This time i would love to do a small 8 gal nano as well.
I am just stuck on tanks, ideally it should be almost AIO, primarily so my wife doesn't flip out again about the mess etc. I could go up to as large as 16 but 8 would be ideal.
So what are the good tanks now a days innovative marine seemed nice looking and good reviews. Weak lighting but enough for soft corals. I know very little on led lighting it was new when i left last time. Then either some shrimp a couple snails and goby (probably not enough room for a clown), maybe a dwarf seahorse? Thoughts? I do want a barebottom, because i got so tired of sifting sand for detritus. I also don't think i want an anemone, my last one kept splitting and pretty much ate everything. Was good to sell for that reason but split about 4 times and was massive over a year or so.
Another thing is do i need a nano skimmer now and can it fit in the back any advice would be much appreciated.
TIA
