No, not trying to rush the process, I was hoping by bringing in some established LR, I'd also bring in some critters that I'd never get if I started the whole tank dead.

I remember in my last tank I had a few tiny feather duster type critters on a little rock I brought in and it was lots of fun to watch then open and close. Little dusters like that aren't going to naturally form, they will have to come in on some rock.

I would listen to them, personally I would sit back and keep an eye on your so called cured rock. A lot can pop up in the next couple of weeks. I would really never classify lfs live rock bins as cured. And half of the dry rock out there has dead stuff inside still leaching out. Just my opinion.
