Putting 150 gallon tank and 75 gallon sump in basement location

Installing take and sump in basement.im wondering if tank and sump should be installed by a window for ventilation.i don't want my basement to stink like saltwater and be muggy.thank you

I have my sump and my fuge in the basement. My basement doesn't smell like saltwater. In the basement it works great in the summer months cause it keeps your tank a little cooler since it is damp in the basement

I have my sump in my boiler room - I did have to run a line to my skimmer to a window to get fresh air into the system to help keep my PH up. Other than that it was a GREAT move.

Thank you.I thought with all that water it would get musty.I have a window on one side and the other side has no window and in the summer it gets a little humid in my basement wasn't sure if all that water would cause more humidity.
