I was wondering I have some rock that used to be live when it was in my tank. There was to much of it so I put it in a bucket. I was going to set up a sump and was wondering if I can put this rock in the filter. Also if I do put it in wet dry and take out the bio balls can the water trickle off some of the rock or does the rock need to be complety covered in water.

Thanks
David

If you are converting a wet/dry into a sump.....you don't want the "trickle" effect.
You'll have to remover the "Drip-Tray."

Yes.........the LR should be submerged.

If you have live-stock in the tank already, you might want to cure that rock before putting it into the filter.
