I recently set up my Nuvo 16 as an upgrade from a Fluval Edge 6.
I like the aquascape I have. It's not overly impressive from a distance but it looks nice upclose and provides a lot of caves, arches and tunnels for the fish to enjoy.
My concern is the lack of space on the sand bed in the front of the tank.
I have left enough space on the back wall for my to be able to fit my hand easily but my question is:
Is this truly necessary or can I push the whole rock structure back about an inch or two and give me that much more space upfront?
The rock is completely free standing and does not need the back wall for support.
As a side note:
If I were to push the rock against the back wall is there a problem using it for support? Maybe stack the rocks a little higher?
:thanks:
