Redsea mag calc alk tester question

Got confused with the testing kit, saw a video n the titrate always had a gap from the 1.0 reading after being suck up from final stages. At the end of every testing he went by where the black part left off. Just confused not sure what to go by. Should the liquid fill all the way up to 1.0 when setting up the titrate step?? Well this was my reading when not filling up to 1.0

you should have some space bteween 1.0 and the liquid, the amout varies for each item, make sure the plastic tip is on all the way before you start and follow the directions. I have done the mag test without mixing after each drop and it was lower than when i mixed after each drop, with this brand of test kit you have to follow the directions to get the most accurate test you can.

There will be a gap. This represents the air in the tip that you can't expunge. It's ok, you will be measuring the distance the plunger moves, irregardless of the fluid line.

on your middle vile, they recommend you don't go past 80% of vile cause their might be air. refill the vile and add what you use to the 80%.
