Blue Xenia Not Growing

I bought a small rock covered in sttel blue xenia about 6 months ago and it hasn't grown. The parameters are fine. All other coral are healthy. It isn't sick, dying, it just isn't growing. It is in the back corner of my tank, about medium light maybe a little less and medium flow. Should i move it or put it in more flow? It is just really annoying. My chalice is growing much faster.

In my experience xenia likes a slightly dirty tank to grow.
I don't think that it's a matter of changing the flow so much as water chemistry but YMMV.

what do you mean by "dirty" cause iv never had below 5 ppm nitrate.

im my experience the more flow they get the faster they grow. Mine grow like a week and i skim heavy. med light good flow usually does the trick.

I notice my xenia grow like crazy with high ph 8.3 8.4
