Just wondering. This is what I think, even if you are using RO/DI water, like I am, when I occasionally move things around in my tank slightly etc, and I've cleaned my hands using manhattan water, I should always have on hand some de-conditioner to De-toxify the trace amounts of chlorine and chlorimines, as well as heavy metals from the trace amounts of tap water that might still exist on my hands?

Or
Is this just being a little bit too paranoid as I continue to take care of my little red juvenile maroon clownfish?

My tank is a 20 gallon Long tank.

2nd question?

I have noticed some new strange behavior from my red maroon clownfish. It has decided to "hang out" near the top of my heater unit for the last week or two?

I'm not sure how long it stays there, but it does seem to hang out at this spot for hours, at least until I turn off the aquarium light, and find it hours later sleeping on the sand.

I am also a little concerned, because there is a area of my hood that is open in this spot, (in order to let the heater into my aquarium). I don't like the idea while I'm asleep that it might decide to jump out, at some point?

The main thing is to make sure you don't have soap residue or antibacterial on your hands. It can cause a bacterial bloom. I've had it happen.

My clowns stay near certain areas of my tank 80% of the time I am viewing.

They tend to jump when scared. It does happen but not often. (it's happen to me with my current pair 2-3 times in 16 months. Open top most of the time!)
