How much should a normal Ph swing be in a reef tank in 24 hours (mainly from sunrise to sunset) . I noticed a large Ph swing when i was dosing Alk but now that I reprogrammed my apex that large swing went away.
IMHO ph should stay within .2 or so over the day. My 300 gal will drift by .1 one way or the other. what do you mean by large swing. also how are you testing it?
