The overflow in my 75 was so clogged that I had to reduce return flow to a trickle. Slow flow caused bloom of bacterial snot in sump.
I was afraid to replace the plumbing myself because (1) I am a coward; (2) I am a klutz and anticipated that my trying to do so would cause horrific leaks; and (3) I found professionals out there that will do the job for me.
So I hired Reef Shui (supposed to rhyme with feng shui, but I don't hold that against him).
He showed up on time; had all necessary tools and parts to do the job; did the job; and afterwards stuck around to make absolutely sure there were no leaks and to fine tune the ball valve on the return pump to eliminate burps on return line.
Now my 4+ year old tank is purring along like new.
The price was right too.
In sum, fantastic service! Will definitely be hiring him for additional projects on my 2 tanks.
