Quietest Pump?

Im sick and tired of my pump noise! Can anyone recommend a super quiet pump? I"m thinking of using a submersible one.

me 2, the 6000 model. i dont think they r good on pressure but for just return is good.

I personally like the mag pumps .I run it outside the sump .I have a "quiet one" that I bought to replace the mag but its noisy outside the sump.Inside the sump they both run quiet but outside the mag is quiet and the "quiet one" is not

They are all very quiet when they are unplugged

Yes I have heard about the eheims but I heard there are cheaper alternatives. I have read a lot of people are using the oceanrunners and seem to like them a lot.

Basically I have a 135 gallon with the sump in the cabinet underneath. The output of the return pump would basically be split into two return lines. So THere wouldnt be a lot of resistance to flow. i was thinking to get a 1200 to 1600gph pump?

It will be difficult to find a "silent" pump in that GPH range, unless you got the $$$$$$ for a Red Dragon.

These are the quietest external pumps I have ever used besides a Red Dragon, but they also will add 2-3 degrees to your tank temperature.

I have an ehiem 1260 which i bought to replace a Mag7, whic i bought to replace an Ocean Runner3500. The ehiem is by far the quietest pump I have had, and the mag7 i would rate as a fairly noisy pump. The 3500 was not bad but no where near the ehiem.
In my opinion the ehiem is worth the extra $20 or $30
